Local business owner Michelle Brekke is back with her second annual “Thermal 4 Kids” campaign.

She’s asking for help from Cowichan Lake businesses or anyone with a desire to help children who live in the Cowichan Valley School District start school in September with a brand new lunch bag filled with school supplies.

Last year, 12 thermal bags were sponsored.

This year’s goal is to double that amount.

“Once again I will use my commission to fill each thermal with much needed school supplies,” she said.
