“Christmas in July” was the theme of this year’s Grande Parade through downtown Duncan on July 13. The event included parade mainstays like town crier Ben Buss and the Shriners, as well as the Cowichan Intercultural Society, Maple Bay Yacht Club, and Canada’s Best Karate. North Cowichan Councillor Tek Manhas got into the action, dousing the crowd with a water gun.
