Organizers were pleased Saturday, May 6 to see a good mix of Lake Cowichan residents come out on National Wildfire Preparedness Day to the fire hall to learn about the FireSmart program.
The Lake Cowichan Fire Department is introducing FireSmart, educating the community on what you can do to help the safety of your home and property as we approach the summer fire season.
