Eager shoppers look through the bargains available at the St. John’s sale.

Bring your shopping bags to Cobble Hill on Saturday, Sept. 17.

Eager bargain hunters will throng the area around St. John’s Anglican Church as it holds its September Festival at 3295 Cobble Hill Rd. from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The church’s members really run with the idea of Reduce, Recycle and Reuse.   Their mega yard, book, and clothing sales will have settled into the new places, on the beautiful Church grounds, first tried in 2015.

The event’s country store has renamed itself plants and preserves but it has not moved from its cool position under the trees.

Better buys, jewellery, art and silent auction will be in the hall and the church.

Outside, divine desserts, the bake table, hamburgers, popcorn and beverages will be easy to enjoy.

For the children there is the bouncy castle, face painting and other activities to keep them busy while others are shopping and visiting.

As usual the church will be supporting local, national and international charities with some of the proceeds raised at this fun day for all the family.
