The ongoing Women at Work workshops continue on Oct. 21 by exploring the subject of women who bully at work.
Kendra Thomas, program coordinator at the Warmland Women’s Support Services Society, is leading the discussion.
Women bullying women at work occurs in all sectors of employment from labour, to government, to board rooms.
Workplace harassment is four times higher than other forms of workplace abuse such as sexual harassment or racial discrimination and the problem is further complicated when women don’t feel comfortable reporting abuse by another woman.
This workshop aims to engage participants, inspire curiosity and provide emotional support.
