Cowichan fans will love the family-style warmth of a Celtic Christmas.

Tickets are selling briskly for a Celtic Family Christmas featuring Natalie MacMaster and Donnell Leahy, as Canada’s first family of contemporary Celtic music comes to the Cowichan Performing Arts Centre on Thursday, Dec. 1 at 7:30 p.m.

Nothing kicks off the holidays for a significant number of Cowichan Valley residents like the tuneful blending of Christmas classics and the atmospheric sounds of Cape Breton folk music.

And when you whirl in some  fiery fiddle playing by MacMaster and Leahy, plus step-dancing and heart-warming stories, well, it’s a Yuletide feast for the eyes and ears.

What’s especially fun is that the couple are traveling with their children this year, enjoying the season with them. And you will be able to do the same because they’re part of the show, too.

What better way to warm up early December with the whole family?

Tickets are $45 each. Get them online at cowichanpac.ca or reserve them by phone by calling the Cowichan Ticket Centre at 250-748-7529.
