All-candidates meet to focus on seniors
Seniors take note: an all candidates meeting primarily aimed at learning the Cowichan Valley riding candidates’ thoughts on seniors issues is taking place April 4 at the Cobble Hill Hall. The doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the meeting will run from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
All six confirmed candidates are scheduled to attend including Libertarian James Anderson, the Green Party’s Sonia Furstenau, Independent Socialist Eden Haythornthwaite, Liberal Steve Housser, NDP candidate Lori Iannidinardo and Independent candidate Ian Morrison.
The meeting is being hosted by the Young Seniors Action Group, which represents seniors groups in Mill Bay, Cowichan Bay, Cobble Hill and Shawnigan Lake.
