The Crofton fire department was called out to reports of a log loader ablaze at Catalyst's Shoal Island operation in Crofton Monday afternoon.
Catalyst tweeted that the fire was small and contained.
One Crofton resident reported feeling an explosion.
There were no immediate reports of any injuries.
