No injuries were reported after car went over a barrier and down an embankment on Allenby Road on Sunday morning.

RCMP and Duncan volunteer firefighters attended the scene shortly after 7 a.m. Early investigations suggested that the vehicle had left the road and ridden the barrier for a short distance before going over the edge. The vehicle stopped before it reached the river.

Police don’t believe alcohol was a factor in the incident. Allenby Road was closed for a short time while police and fire crews attended.
