A pedestrian was struck by a semi-trailer on the Trans-Canada Highway early Wednesday morning.
The man was treated for non-life threatening injuries after being hit on the Malahat section of the highway near the Shawnigan Lake turnoff.

The incident, which happened at about 6:30 a.m., is still under investigation, said a spokepserson for the Shawinigan Lake RCMP.
