Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 4497

Notice is hereby given by the Cowichan Valley Regional District that the Board of Directors will consider 1st and 2nd reading of Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 4497, applicable to Electoral Area F – Cowichan Lake South/Skutz Falls, at the regular Board meeting on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, at 1:30 p.m. Persons who believe their interest in property is affected by the proposed Bylaw may participate by electronic means or in-person.

PURPOSE OF THE PROPOSED BYLAW

Electoral Area F - Cowichan Lake South/Skutz Falls Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 4497

Subject Property: 7531 Cowichan Lake Road (PID: 012-490-920)

Legal Description: LOT 4, BLOCK 29, COWICHAN LAKE DISTRICT, PLAN 47390

The purpose of proposed Electoral Area F Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 4479 is to amend the Electoral Area F - Cowichan Lake South/Skutz Falls Zoning Bylaw No. 2600, 2005, by:

  • Rezoning the subject property from F-1 – Forest Resource 1 Zone to R-1 Rural Residential 1 Zone

These materials may be examined at the Regional District Land Use Services Department office, 175 Ingram Street, Duncan, BC, from July 13, 2023, to July 25, 2023, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding statutory holidays.
