PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, pursuant to Section 26 of the Community Charter, that the City of Duncan proposes to renew the licence of occupation (June 1, 2023 toMay 31, 2028) for the northeast corner of the City Square parking lot to The Old Firehouse Wine & Cocktail Bar, 40 Ingram Street, for an additional five (5) years to May 31, 2028, for the purpose of a licensed outdoor seating patio for a licence fee of $951 for the first year, with the licence fee increased each subsequent year of the term by the Victoria Consumer Price index for the previous year. The land is described as the northeasternmost parking space of the City Square parking lot, of approximately 25.4 square metres, adjacent to 40 Ingram Street.

Any person(s) who wish to comment on the proposed disposition, prior to Council consideration at the meeting on Monday, June 19, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. may provide written comments mailed or delivered to City Hall and addressed to the Director of Corporate Services, 200 Craig Street, Duncan BC V9L 1W3 or emailed to paige@duncan.ca by 12:00 pm on June 14, 2023. Written comments received after 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 12, 2022, and before 5:00 p.m. on Monday, June 19, 2023, will be submitted for public record during the meeting.
