It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Barry Stewart Postle of Chemainus BC on Tuesday, July 12 at Cowichan District Hospital with his family by his side. He is survived by his wife, Debbie; sons Corey (Mika) and Tyler (Jill), daughters Carlisa (Steve) and Janica (Jered); sisters Barbara (Max) and Caroline (Jack); brothers David (Shannon), Ron and Byron (Melanie) and numerous nephews, nieces and cousins. Predeceased by his father, Norman Harry Postle, his mother, Barbara Jean Postle and his eldest brother Norman. Barry loved his family first and foremost and he was especially proud of his sons Corey and Tyler. He enjoyed regularly going for lunch with his cousin John and solving all the world’s problems with his neighbor Roy. His passions were his boat, mowing lawn and gardening. He will be greatly missed by all whose lives he touched. I would like to thank Dr. Feng, Dr. Joe and Dr. Masuda for looking after him during his illness and all the other health care professionals for taking care of him.
