Elizabeth died peacefully at the Cowichan Regional Hospital on March 18, 2024. She was born in the UK and came to Canada to be with her family in 1960.
She worked in Home Care Support for most of her life until the year 2000. Most of this time she lived in Vancouver but in 2002 she moved to Duncan to provide care for her elderly mother.
After her mum passed away (at the venerable age of 101) she continued to live in this town. She loved Duncan, and made many friends due her out-going friendly nature. She especially loved dogs. Elizabeth was an aficionado of old movies and had an encyclopedic knowledge of the movies and actors.
Elizabeth is survived by her brother Gordon, sister-in-law Laraine, nieces Robyn and Katie Radcliffe, nephew Jamie and a growing number of great nephews and great nieces.
Her family wishes to thank the supportive nurses and doctors who treated her in her final days.
