It is with great sadness that we announce Gary’s passing on September 7, 2016 at his home in Lake Cowichan. Gary is survived by his daughter Leah, grand-daughter Koreena, great grandchildren Riley and Skyla, his brothers and their wives David and Dale, Keith and Pat and his aunt Linda. He will be missed by his family. Gary was born in Lethbridge, Alberta in 1949, moved to Victoria at an early age and later moved to his home in Lake Cowichan. Gary worked as a marine engineer with the Coast Guard for over 30 years. He loved anything with an engine and his collection will attest to that. We would like to invite Gary’s friends to join the family in a celebration of his life at St. Patrick’s church hall, 2060 Haultain St., Victoria, BC between 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Friday, September 23, 2016 to share memories.
