It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Gerry Hurst after a lengthy battle at the Royal Jubilee Hospital in Victoria on April 12th, 2017.
He is survived by his sister Caroline Genis. His three children: Julie, Gerrilynn and Scott and grandchildren. His ex-wife and friend Lois Hurst and her children and grandchildren. His nephews Gordon, Gregg (Sonia). His great nephews Brent and Carson and his great niece Abigail.
Thank you to Dr. Broere, Dr. Fedoruk, Dr. Leather, Dr. Hammond and the wonderful staff of the Heart Ward that took such good care of him.

There will be a celebration of Gerry’s life on April 29th between 1:00 and 4:00pm at the Crofton Community Centre Hall.
