On March 19, 2016 our dad, grandpa and great-grandpa, Gilbert Louis Lucier passed away at Cowichan District Hospital. Dad was raised in Leask, Saskatchewan and at the age of 16 left to go work in a mill in Vancouver. He then got work on the Princess Mary which delivered mail and goods up and down the coast. Dad then joined the Canadian Navy in 1953 and served until 1974. After leaving the Navy he then went on to work at the Kerry Park Arena. Dad worked hard for everything he had and showed the same strength and determination when dealing with his health issues. So cheers to someone who got to spend his last day on earth doing what he liked, eating porridge for breakfast, meeting friends (esp. Matt Leeming) and family for lunch at McDonalds, then settling down to watch some hockey. We hope you have a great seat for the playoffs.

Love From All of Us
