Our Matriarch, Gladys Miller passed away peacefully, with family by her side, at Cerwydden Care in Duncan, BC.
Predeceased by her husband Alex, granddaughter Kimberly, son-in-law Wain Hayton, 2 sisters and a brother.
Survived by her children, Irene Hayton, Diane (Odd) Johansen, Brian (Connie) Miller, 9 granddaughters, 1 grandson, 19 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren, with 2 more due soon.
Gladys was born and raised in Saskatchewan late in her teens moving to California and then Vancouver, BC. Here she met her husband Alex. They spent many of their years together on Vancouver Island, where Gladys always made a home for her family. She had a strong Christian Faith and was always supportive of her church family. She was a talented cook, quilter, needle worker and so much more.

A burial service will be held at Mountain View Cemetery, Monday, November 6, 2017 at 12:00 pm, followed by a Church Service at Bethel Baptist Church, 463 Ypres Street, Duncan, BC at 1:30 pm.
