Hank was predeceased by his daughter Laurie Nylund and step-son Brian Nelson. Left to remember the good times are his daughters Mary (Greg), Pattie (Mike), Debbie (Ken) and son Patrick and sister Lorrain; his second family - partner and best friend Velma, Orrin (Susan), Keith (Deena), Sheila (Guy), Rhonda (Grant) and Donna (Rick); 26 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
Hank spent his early years in the Canadian Army, serving in Korea, the Far East and Cyprus. Hank spent many year with TimberWest Forest (Renfrew) as a blaster-driller. He loved hunting and fishing and in the later years snowbirding with Velma in Yuma, AZ, where they made many good friends.
