Passed away peacefully on Friday March 3, 2017. She leaves behind her best friend and partner Brian Smith, who cared lovingly for her in her final years. Predeceased by her son, Art Cameron. She leaves behind her three daughters Janice Cameron, Kathryn Boivin and Theresa Jacobson, three grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Irene was born into ranch life at Merritt, B.C. in 1925, where she lived for many years. She then moved to Lillooet, Kamloops, Vernon, then to Vancouver Island, in 1991, where she settled in her final years. Arrangements entrusted to Sands Funeral Chapel Duncan, B.C.
