Ken died quietly in Duncan, after a battle with dementia. He was born in Vancouver to Frank & Annie Plumbly. As a young man, he served in the Canadian Navy for two years during WWII, mostly in the Pacific theater. After the war, he held a variety a jobs, eventually retiring to Chemainus, were he enjoyed singing in the Seniors and Church Choirs, working in the garden and on his wood working projects, and his involvement the Chemainus Seniors Drama group. Ken was predeceased by his wife Betty [2007] and is survived by his children: Dale [Debbie]; Brenda; Susan [David]; and Ken [Penny]; as well as grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A service will be held at St Michael & All Angels Church, Chemainus, on Saturday, January 7th, 1.30pm.
