It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Nancy Donna-Mae Kobe (nee Thomson) from cancer on July 2, 2016, 8:06pm at the age of 77 in the arms of her daughter.

Nancy was predeceased by her eldest son, Norman (Normy) who passed away at age 9 from leukemia. Her parents Nancy and Inspector W.J. Thomson. Nancy is survived by her devoted husband Norman of 61 years, son Ronald, daughter Nancetta and grandchildren Aaron and Danielle.

Nancy met her loving husband Norman in Nanaimo. She loved working in her vegetable and flower gardens and put her special touch to everything she did. She had a passion for her Siamese cats; was an excellent chef at home, enjoyed making new recipes, hosted many dinners and dance parties for family and friends. Nancy loved boating and camping at Lake Cowichan, Tent and many of the Gulf Islands, had a passion for water skiing and curling. After her son’s death she began studying the bible with Jehovah’s Witnesses and continued serving her creator, Jehovah God until her death.

Nancy was cremated and burial will be a private family affair.
