In Loving Memory ~
Born in Duncan, BC, Valerie was unafraid to try her hand at just about anything, from hunting to handcrafting, from farming to travelling across North America.
Val was known for her knitting, baking and family meals with the obligatory knot on the fire to keep everyone cozy. She was full of grit, determination, quiet patience, a passion for local hockey, and love and pride for her husband, three boys, their families and her large extended family.
Val was an amazing role model to many, with many quips and giggles and will be missed by family and friends alike.
There will not be a memorial, as per the family's request. Instead of flowers, please consider making a donation to your local sports team to aid and encourage children to participate.
