I keep hearing the CVRD needs to come up with a redesign of the community centre’s parking lot saving the tree.
The commission already have one, dated July 5. They now have option one and the redesign, option two. Option one costs the taxpayers $40,000 more. Option two is a design that routes the driveways around the maple tree.
All the commission members need to do is dig through the mess of anti-tree material on their desks, dust off the option two design, then give a copy to the foreman. What could be simpler?
