Get the Martin Mars water bomber fighting the fires

Regarding the fires out of control and state of emergency.

We need the best tool in the shed out there doing what she does best: the Martin Mars water bomber, dumping a poop-load of water on those fires!

Stop with the silly politics of preferential Conair favoritism and get off your rear ends and award a contract to Coulson Aviation! We need all the tools in the shed, now! Just look at the facts of what she can do. Can use 113 lakes in B.C. plus ocean, 7,000 gallons per drop covering four acres, (an average fire truck only holds 1,000 gallons), 30 seconds to fill up, six turns per hour, 42,000 gallons per hour, gel injected into water, latest up to date avionics and stress gauges, synthetic vision in cockpit to fly in smoke, less hours on her than a 10 year old 737, cost per hour quicker, more water/gel than those piddly spitting planes and teacup helicopter buckets.

Fires have not changed their characteristics over the years and the Mars has a proven, effective, safe, and reliable track record. Does not harm building or ground crew on dropping water/gel and can fly low and slow for accurate drops, and water will not evaporate before even hitting fires like the little spitting efforts. Fire + water = out.

Nothing can deliver the quantity of water per hour! I have sent messages to CBC, MLAs, Horgan, the Q, etc. Let’s get it done!
