Having read The Sixth Extinction, the dominant cause of extinction has been the dominance of certain species. Could the proliferation of mankind be the sixth that we are heading into? For the Earth to survive and move past the sixth and start into the seventh regeneration of the Earth the elimination of man may be the key.
Man, the most intelligent and inventive of previous creatures, has perhaps manipulated mankind into our own necessary extinction through our own stupid goals of greed and egotism.
