Phil Kent says that we need a light on Coronation Street. We need a roundabout! There is room to put one there. I know a lot of drivers do not like them. They need to learn how to use them! They are awesome. I wish the main corridor through Duncan had room for roundabouts. The lines of traffic stopped at the lights are ridiculous!
One other thing...who in their right mind decided it was a good idea to put plants and trees in the crosswalk from Tim Hortons across Trunk Road? When a person is walking across that crosswalk they cannot be seen. I would think a crosswalk would be a place you wanted to have the clearest view possible.
Some people don’t use the flashing light and then they stand in the middle where they cannot be seen and yell obscenities at the cars that don’t stop, because they had no idea someone was standing there!
If you are a pedestrian USE the light! It’s not that hard to push a button!
I actually think the flashing lights should also be on the road flashing right across the crosswalk as well as up on the poles.
