To the kind people of the Cowichan Valley:
Traffic control personnel stand for many hours in hazardous conditions ensuring the safety of those using and working on roadways. We sometimes get no breaks. We oversee construction zones from Parksville to Shawnigan Lake, Saltspring Island to Cowichan Lake, Nanaimo, Duncan, Crofton and Chemainus. Sometimes the locations are remote.
Thank you to the many people who have offered us the use of their bathrooms in their homes and businesses.
Although we may not know each other’s names, we thank you for your generosity and friendliness. You have provided real comfort and helped us manage our long hours on the road.
