I was delighted to see your paper feature Cowichan Valley agriculture in last Friday’s issue.
We are fortunate to have so many unique businesses offering world-class products close to home.
As we read, this success doesn’t come without its challenges.
North Cowichan will be hosting a town hall meeting this fall on the topic of drainage.
We hope to hear from the agricultural community about the challenges they face related to drainage to learn if there are specific ways local government can ease that burden.
The date and location of the town hall will be announced soon.
