Trump not the wonderful figure Foster would have us believe
Whilst I did not read Mr. Foster’s original letter, and frankly have no wish to do so, I must make a couple of comments on his follow up letter.
As he says, many businesses go through rough times and declare bankruptcies. Trump did this so many times that we have almost lost count. In addition it is clear that his rescue money came from Russia, a country he supports against his own people and the universal condemnation from all sections of his own defence departments. As for the comment re Obama and the national debt. Obama came into power when the U.S.A. was in dire trouble. He initiated each and every program that Trump now takes credit for.
If Mr. Foster feels he can support a president whose moral compass is in the gutter that is his choice. This president does not believe in global warming and has cancelled many of the ERA edicts which would protect future generations. He has given a tax break that 87 per cent helps him and his cohorts. He has torn vulnerable children away from the safety of their parents’ arms. He lies so many times a day that one loses count. He is a racist, misogynist individual whose only interest is his own survival at all costs, no matter what cost to the American people.
