Voting NDP will bring unemployment

B.C. is a province with a wide range of companies, some headquartered right here in B.C. and others headquartered outside the province that employ our B.C. citizens.

They have operations here because of a friendly business government, that supplies a fair tax system to their investment in the province. In return for fair taxes, they employ our B.C. citizens. If taxpayers vote in a government that is prepared to up the various taxes for these businesses, they will not play ball with an increase in their taxes. They will not shut down their business and move out of the province, but they will curtail their production and issue layoff slips to the employees they employ. Somebody has to cover their increase in business expenses and it is never the business. The employees cover the costs by receiving layoff slips.

There is presently a provincial election campaign on now in B.C. and the B.C. NDP are proposing tax increases for these businesses. If you have never been issued a layoff slip, a change in government will guarantee to make that happen. The old phrase applies to this and that phrase is that you cannot have your cake and eat it too. Your employer is in B.C. because of a friendly business government. Some who want to change that will be walking into the doors of the unemployment office.
