Some highly decorated curling teams from across B.C. will be competing in the Battle of the Sexes at Duncan’s Glen Harper Curling Centre this Saturday.

Men’s and ladies teams will take each other on in a mini cashspiel. The 10 teams will be split into pools of four, playing six-end mini games throughout the day. Each game will be worth $100 for the winner, and the two pool winners will compete at the end of the day for even more cash.

The field includes former B.C. men’s runners-up Jason Montgomery and Neil Dangerfield, 2017 Kamloops Crown of Curling cashspiel champ Dailene Pewarchuk, 2017 BC Travelers Men’s Curling Cup champ Bart Sawyer, 2017 B.C. Scotties contenders Holly Donaldson of Vancouver and Kesa Van Osch of Nanaimo, former B.C. seniors champ Wes Craig, 2017 B.C. junior men’s runner up Ryan Habrink, and new junior teams from Duncan and Victoria.
