North America’s largest sporting event hosted by a single school runs this weekend in Mill Bay as Brentwood College School hosts its 47th annual rowing regatta.

Racing runs from 2 p.m. to dusk on Friday, 7 a.m. to dusk on Saturday and 7 a.m. to noon on Sunday.

Nearly 200 races will be contested over the three days, one every seven minutes. Last year’s event had 4,000 visitors, including more than 1,700 athletes and coaches and over 500 volunteers.

The races will also be livestreamed online at brentwood.bc.ca/live
