Cowichan team leads the (six) pack

The Cowichan team of Tom Slemko, Roy Jaskow and Clint Bailey won the Men’s Two Bowl Six Pack hosted by the Cowichan Lawn Bowling Club on July 18 and 19.

Teams from Victoria and Parksville also competed in the event. The team of Slemko, Jaskow and Bailey won 11 of 13 games to take the top spot ahead of runners-up David Gardner from Victoria and Alan Brunskill from Parksville.

The Cowichan Lawn Bowling Club is located in Centennial Park at the end of First Street in Duncan. The sport is free to try for members of the public.
