As part of the Canadian men’s field hockey team’s training camp at Shawnigan Lake School next month, the team will be running a free clinic for young athletes.
The camp will take place on July 13 from 6:30-8 p.m. at the school’s field hockey turf.
The national team will be holding its training camp at Shawnigan Lake School in preparation for the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.
Currently ranked 14th in the world, the Canadian men will open the Olympics on Aug. 6 against Germany. Other games are scheduled for Aug. 8 (Argentina), Aug, 9 (Netherlands), Aug. 11 (Ireland) and Aug. 12 (India).
