New players are being sought for the Cowichan Valley Rec Lacrosse League.
No experience is required, and contact is limited. A helmet, stick, gloves and slash guards are required.
The season begins April 22 at Kerry Park Arena and runs until mid-July. Most games are played on Wednesday evenings, with some Saturdays and Mondays.
Fees are $150 per player or $125 before first game on April 22. Drop-in rates are $10 per game.
For those who want to give the league a shot before signing up, preseason scrimmages will be held on April 12 and 19 at Kerry Park Arena at 8 p.m.
