Kyla Toljander scored the lone goal as the Cowichan Flickers beat the Rebels Patriots in a Vancouver Island Field Hockey League Ladies Div. 1 match last Saturday.

The Cardinals won the all-Cowichan showdown in Div. 2 last Sunday, beating the Swifts 6-1 behind four goals by Kaileigh Simons and one each from Hannah Murray and Jill Roberts Thompson. Maija Hermant replied for the Swifts, who were also beaten 1-0 on Saturday by the Rebels Blue Jays.

In Div. 3, the Cowichan Kestrels were doubled up 4-2 by the Oak Bay Demons. Hayley Picard and Sara Lamont scored for the Kestrels.

The Cardinals and Kestrels will both be in action at the UVic fields this weekend.
