U18 Mid Island Lightning edged by Vic 2 in season opener

the U18 Mid Island Lightning were edged 7-6 by Victoria 2 in their first field lacrosse game of the season.

Jacob Taylor scored three times and Parker Teufel was outstanding in goal, but the U18 Mid Island Lightning were edged 7-6 by Victoria 2 in their first field lacrosse game of the season at the Cowichan Sportsplex last Sunday.

Kyle Page added two goals and Michael Shepherd scored once in the action-packed season opener. The U18 Lightning have six new players moving up from the U15 ranks.

The U18 team’s next home games are a doubleheader at the Sportsplex on Oct. 9 with games at 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
