Annual Easter Egg Hunt in Chemainus a hopping good time

Hundreds gathered at Fuller Lake Park for annual Easter Egg Hunt

It was a scramble by the lake on Saturday, April 19 as hundreds of kids and their friends and family scoured Fuller Lake Park during the annual Chemainus Easter Egg Hunt.

Organized by the municipality of North Cowichan, the event featured the hunt for hidden chocolate eggs, a dedicated area for children aged five and under, special prize eggs that won some lucky hunters kites, recreation passes and more, face painting, lawn games and, of course, an appearance by the Easter Bunny.

It was a perfect spring day for the event as egg seekers ran around the park in the sunshine, collecting baskets full of chocolate and making community memories.
