The Malahat Legion and Mill Bay Lions Club are holding Canada Day festivities on July 1.
All Canada Day events are located at the Malahat Legion and are sponsored by Malahat Legion, Mill Bay Lions Club, and the Government of Canada.
Come to the Malahat Legion between 8:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. for the ever-popular pancake breakfast; the cost is $6 per person.
Return to the Malahat Legion between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. for free Canada Day cake and enjoy live music by the Cowichan Jammers “Turnip up the Beet”.
Malahat Legion is also hosting a membership drive on Canada Day from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m..
The cost for membership for the balance of 2022 is $27.50.
The Legion is also reminding the public that its meat draw and bottle drive will continue through the summer.
