Chemainus Summer Fest is scheduled for Saturday, June 18 this year.
The fun starts with a pancake breakfast at 8 a.m., served up by the Chemainus Rotary Club.
Then, at 11 a.m., it’s time for the big parade starting at Victoria and Willow, then going from Willow to Oak, Oak to Esplanade and from there to Kin Park. (Note: new route from previous years)
Hamburgers and hotdogs will be available afterwards on the barbecue in Waterwheel Square. There are children’s activities, too, from 11:45 a.m. to 2 p.m.
