Firewalking event coming to Duncan this Saturday

You are invited to participate in the ancient practice known as Firewalking, Saturday, Oct. 13 from 3-8 p.m. on Cowichan First Nations land in Duncan.

Participation costs $100.

Firewalking has existed all over the world in many cultures for centuries. People have held this ceremony to honour their ancestors, to elevate their energy, channel precision and to bring forth renewed healing.

“Fear can hinder even the most successful person and facing it with courage moves you forward into the next chapter you have chosen to write for yourself with clarity,” said instructor Liz Forrest about the event.

Join Forrest for the empowering ceremony where you will face your fears, move beyond and feel the abundant vitality transform how you live your life. In the workshop before the ceremony participants learn effective techniques to elevate their energy and maintain a clear mind to create a powerful experience.

Forrest is certified by Sundoor International Firewalking School.

“I moved past what I thought to be true,” said Colin Beamish, a firewalking participant. “My Firewalk with Liz Forrest opened me up to so much more energy and freedom in my life.”

“My first Firewalk with Liz Forrest was an experience that changed my life and way of thinking,” said another participant, Rene Sutherland. “I was in a state of fear of the unknown which after my Firewalk changed to a place of calm and empowerment.”
