Cowichan Coffee Time: Nature School unveils plaque

• The Board of Education for the Cowichan Valley School District was excited to unveil a new plaque commemorating the opening of Mill Bay Nature School on Tuesday, Jan. 28.

Mill Bay Nature School is the first school opened by the Board of Education in the District in 10 years. While the school opened its doors in September 2018, it wasn’t until June 7, 2019 that it was officially opened.

A framed picture beside the plaque was a gift from a parent to the school.
