The Walk of the Nations braves the rain Saturday morning.

The Walk of the Nations left the old Vancouver Island University site on its route across Duncan to the new campus.

Meant to bring together the various cultures of the Cowichan Valley, the walk has been held since 2009.

Once at the new VIU site, participants flowed into the One World Festival, put on by the Cowichan Intercultural Society.
