There are many variables to consider when making life choices as we age. Information is the key element to support you and your loved ones in making informed decisions.

Learn more at Volunteer Cowichan’s Third Aging Well Seniors’ Expo Friday, June 10 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Multipurpose Hall at the Cowichan Community Centre in Duncan. Admission is free and there are door prizes to be won.

The event aims to connect Cowichan Valley seniors, caregivers, neighbours and family members with businesses and organizations to support older adults with a range of information, resources and services related to health, financial, legal, medical, physical care, volunteer opportunities and more. There is a series of table talks scheduled as well as information booths, refreshments and more.

With more than 24,000 seniors aged 65 and older in the Cowichan region, Volunteer Cowichan is committed to keeping older adults informed and independent as they age.

“Our existing programs, Cowichan Region Better at Home and Cowichan Social Prescribing are doing a lot to support older adults. This event expands on our dedication to seniors and community,” organizers said.
