Local children and their families got the chance to go back to the past this Family Day, as the Shawnigan Lake Museum partnered with the Shawnigan Lake Community Centre to offer a fun day for experiencing going to school 100 years ago. The activities at the community centre included lessons, traditional lunches students would've eaten 100 years ago and a spelling bee.
