This Sunday, Sept. 3 is going to be exciting at Lake Cowichan.

The summer’s final Trunk Treasures and Lake Cowichan Farmers Market will both be held this Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Lake Cowichan Farmers Market is in Central Park but Trunk Treasures is at Saywell Park.

Organizers say there is still space available if you have treasures to sell.

Following that, there’s the Chili Barn Dance /Volunteer Appreciation Night in Saywell Park from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

You can enjoy the sounds of the Barn Burners Band featuring Amanda Nixon, our 2017 Cowichan Lake Idol.

It’s $5 per person for a bowl of chili, a roll and a glass of old fashioned sarsaparilla soda.

Come on out and celebrate the last Sunday before school starts with your friends and family.
