Farm tour and potluck to educate on business

If you are interested in learning more about how to operate a diversified farm business, you can join a farm tour and potluck supper

If you are interested in learning more about how to operate a diversified farm business, you can join a farm tour and potluck supper on Wednesday, July 6 from 6 till 9 p.m.

The event takes place at Alderlea Farm & Cafe at 3390 Glenora Rd. Alderlea is a mixed biodynamic farm with a CSA market garden and a farm-to-table cafe.

Farmers John & Katy Elrich are inviting Young Agrarians  be they young in age or young at heart to tour their interesting farm, then enjoy a potluck meal and Q&A session.

The area’s Young Agrarians say this event is not to be missed if you are interested in learning more about how to operate a diversified farm business as the Erlichs have amassed a wealth of knowledge about efficient crop production, business skills and how to run a successful diverse farm operation.

Bring your potluck dish and burning questions and be ready to take note of the answers.  If there are specific topics you would like addressed, send an email ahead of time to westcoast@youngagrarians.org.
