Federation of University Women Cowichan Valley announce scholarships

The Canadian Federation of University Women, Cowichan Valley, proudly recognize the following recipients of this years’ scholarship/bursary awards.

In cooperation with Vancouver Island University, Indigenous students Desiree Karlsen who is doing her Bachelor of Education, Candace Curnow who is doing her Bachelor of Education, Diana James who is doing her Bachelor of Education, and Tabitha Barham who is doing her Bachelor of Arts have been given bursaries from the Cowichan Valley Award Fund.

Lorraine Pajitrao who is taking Practical Nursing at VIU has received the Cowichan Valley Endowment Fund Award.

Graduating scholarships/bursaries for students from the Cowichan Valley School District have been awarded to Hannah Montgomery who is going to VIU in Duncan; Alayna Ross who is going to VIU in Nanaimo and Duncan; and Samantha Bell who is going to Camosun College in Victoria.
