Many groups and individuals were getting ready for Remembrance Day over the last several weeks.
The cadets, veterans and other service clubs and individuals work hard to place white crosses to mark the graves of veterans in Cowichan Valley graveyards.
The poppy flag is always set to fly this time of year from Duncan City Hall in honour of the occasion.
